How to Use the Transit Time Calculator

The estimated Transit Calculator (TC) helps you determine the estimated delivery date between two locations.

This tool is useful for planning shipments and setting delivery expectations. By entering your origin, destination, and optional carrier/service preferences, you can view estimated transit days and key shipment details in a comparison table.


How to Access the Transit Calculator

  1. Go to the 'Shipments' tab.

  2. Click on 'Transit Calculator' in the left side bar.

  3. A new set of fields will appear for you to enter shipment details.


How to Use the Transit Calculator

  1. Enter the 'From' location by postcode or suburb.

  2. Enter the 'To' location by postcode or suburb.

  3. (Optional) Select a Supplier/Service if you want to check a specific carrier or service type.

  4. Choose a date option:

    • Arrival By – calculate transit to arrive before a set date.

    • Dispatch On – calculate transit based on a departure date.

  5. View the results table, which will display:

    • Selected departure and arrival date

    • Estimated transit time (in days)

    • From suburb, state, and postcode

    • To suburb, state, and postcode

    • Supplier and service details

    • An option to create a shipment directly with the chosen from/to locations and service.

Use the comparison view (by leaving Supplier/Service blank) to quickly see which carrier offers the fastest or most suitable service between your chosen locations.
