How to Create a New Enquiry

Different ways to create a tracking enquiry in the system, including via search, the shipment tray, or the Enquiries section.

Tracking enquiries can be raised whenever you need updates or clarification about a shipment. The system provides multiple entry points to create a new enquiry, all of which collect the same key details.


Create an Enquiry through Global Search

  1. Enter the Shipment Number in the universal search bar.

  2. Check the Enquiries tab — if no enquiry exists, it will display as Enquiries (0).

  3. Click “Create New Enquiry” to open the enquiry creation form.

  4. Select a shipment from the drop-down list (required field).

  5. Select an Enquiry Type from the available options.

  6. Enter a Freight Description for the shipment package.

  7. Add the Receiver Contact Name.

  8. Add the Receiver Contact Details (email or phone).

  9. Type your Message with as much detail as possible.

  10. Attach any supporting files, if needed.

  11. Click “Submit” to create the enquiry.

  12. You will receive a confirmation message once the enquiry is successfully submitted.


Create an Enquiry from the Shipment Tray

  1. Click on a manifested shipment in the Ready/Manifested Shipments list.

  2. Go to the Enquiries tab in the shipment tray.

  3. Click “Raise Enquiry” — the system pre-fills the Shipment Number.

  4. Select an Enquiry Type.

  5. Enter a Freight Description (optional).

  6. Add the Receiver Contact Name.

  7. Add the Receiver Contact Details.

  8. Type your Message with as much detail as possible.

  9. Attach any supporting files, if needed.

  10. Click “Submit” to create the enquiry.

  11. You’ll see a confirmation message, and the enquiry will appear under the Enquiries tab in the shipment tray.


Create an Enquiry from the Enquiries tab

  1. Navigate to the Enquiries tab from the main menu.

  2. Click “New Enquiry”.

  3. Enter a Shipment Number and select the shipment from the drop-down list (required field).

  4. Select an Enquiry Type from the drop-down.

  5. Enter a Freight Description for the shipment package.

  6. Add any additional Receiver Contact Name(s), if applicable.

  7. Add any additional Receiver Contact Details, if applicable.

  8. Type your Message with as much detail as possible.

  9. Attach any supporting files, if needed.

  10. Click “Submit” to create the enquiry.

  11. You will receive a confirmation message once the enquiry has been submitted successfully.


💡 Tip

The enquiry form is the same across all entry points. Provide as much detail and context as possible in the message field to speed up resolution.
