Setting shipment preferences helps standardize how shipments are created and manifested across your group. These defaults streamline the process for all users and ensure consistent handling of shipments.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Navigate to Settings > Shipment Preference.

  2. Select your Group from the dropdown menu.

  3. Under Default Information, configure:

    • Default Service (e.g., Lowest Cost, Quote All, or a Specific Carrier Service)

    • Default Sender’s Address

    • Default Special Instructions

  4. Use the radio buttons to configure optional shipment preferences:

    • Auto-save Address Book & Items

    • Internal, Shipment, or Quote Reference Required

    • Signature Required

    • Enable Consolidation of Shipments

    • Enable Shipping Notifications

  5. Click Save to apply your group shipment settings.

💡 Tip

Group shipment preferences apply to all users, but individuals can still make adjustments when creating a shipment if required.
